Just another bus stop on a journey to the ass-end of the Internet. Good thing I'm close to it.

  Good afternoon,

Just want to say that I was so pleased with Start8, that I also bought Start10 when I upgraded Windows.  $5 well spent.

That said, I have a suggestion: It would be nice to have a setting to hide the search bar in the Start menu.  I like having the little magnifying glass in the task bar, and I feel that the search bar in start is just a bit redundant.  It would be nice to have a check box or alternate style that would hide this, but leave all of the other features of the Start Menu intact.

Other than that, I am entirely pleased with Start10!

Good news.  There is such an option.

Enable the option to replace Start10 search with Cortana search.  This will hide the search box in the start menu itself.

Well flush my toilet...that worked.  Obviously I didn't even think of activating that setting.  That said: what exactly qualifies as a "custom theme"?  That option says it is not supported with one, so that's why I never considered checking that option.
